When should you wash your hands? Feces (poop) from people or animals is an important sources of germs. A single gram of human feces—which is about the weight of a paper clip—can contain one trillion germs. Help stop the spread of germs by washing your hands often, especially during key times listed below. Before, during, and after preparing food Before eating food Before and after caring for someone who is sick Before and after treating a cut or wound After using the toilet After changing diapers or cleaning up a child who has used the toilet After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing After touching an animal, animal feed, or animal waste After touching garbage Food and Drink Always have in mind that a tiny quantitive of food contamination may pose you on serious threat , Follow the recommendations for avoiding diarrhea , and be informed of the Food Safety Guidelines to Hoteliers, by the Greek CDC

Direct cleaning of the wound with soap and water
Vaccination against rabies
